The secretariat is pleased to announce that the 29th regional course for countries with economies in transition will take place in Belgrade from 30 June to 18 July 2014. The course is hosted by the University of Belgrade, with the support of the Ministry if Foreign and Internal Trade and Telecommunications.
The secretariat is pleased to announce that the 24th regional course for transition economies will take place at the University of Belgrade with the support of the Ministry of Economy and Regional Integration, Serbia from 9 to 27 July 2012.
The 19th regional course for transition economies was held with the support of the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Baku from 19 July to 6 August 2010. The course curricula was designed and delivered by UNCTAD experts in collaboration with the UN Economic Commission for Europe and national experts in Baku from the State Oil Fund, The Ministry of Taxes, the States Customs Committee and the Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Technology. Twenty participants from Albania, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Croatia, Kyrgyz Republic, Russian Federation, Serbia and Ukraine were selected to take part in this course.
The fourteenth regional course was held with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Belarus State Economic University from 23 June to 11 July 2008. UNCTAD experts delivered the course along with national experts from the Belarus State Economic University and UNITER - the Belarus Investment Promotion Agency
The ninth regional course was held with the support of the Ministry of International Economic Relations from 18 September to 6 October 2006. UNCTAD and UNECE experts delivered the program along with national experts from the Ministry of International Economic Relations, University of Belgrade, Braca Karic University, the Serbian Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA) and the Centre for Internet Development.
The fifth regional course was held with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Czech Republic from 12-28 July 2004. UNCTAD and UNECE experts delivered the program. National experts in Prague also contributed to the program. They were from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the General Directorate of Customs at the Ministry of Finance and Czech Invest. A foreign investment company, Denso Manufacturing also participated in this program.
